@whodey saidKnights in White Satin?
Yes, you read my mind, turn the Vatican into a Ninja assassin camp of volunteers.
Thanks for that.

@whodey saidThat's not my argument, and you know it.
Funny that.
In a recent survey, about 3/4 of women polled said they are having an abortion because of money.
https://www.thoughtco.com/why-women-choose-abortion-3534155
And most who give to charity are those of faith and most of those are conservatives

Lie much?
Those who follow Mammon give to charities for many reasons, not the least of which is appearances and taxes. You have many assumptions which simply do not pass the 'smell' test.
@whodey saidWhat, if anything, does this abrasive statement have to do with what I said?
You thought that you were the only abortion loving lefty in the world who claimed to be a Christian?
LOL.
It's more like, "I thought I was one of a very few Christians who are aware that loving money makes one unable to follow God." The truth of the matter is that no man can serve two masters, and conservatives already have a God: the lust for money.
@caesar-salad saidRepublicans worship Mammon, ergo, they cannot be Christian.
I think that's unfair, @Suzianne. There is a spectrum of belief and practice among both Christians and whatever "Republicanism" has turned out to be.

@kellyjay saidYou are willing to brand Suzianne publicly as "profoundly hateful and unfair". In light of the topic of this thread, would you be willing to brand the president of your country as hateful and unfair, as well as some of the things mentioned in the Christianity Today editorial?
To suggest this is profoundly hateful and unfair.
@suzianne saidIt most certainly is your argument. You have more than once given broad condemnation to conservatives and the Republican party for not caring about the poor.
That's not my argument, and you know it.

Again, you lie
@secondson saidLots of people round here full of hate
That's something I'd expect to hear from someone like Rajk.
@whodey saidI would be willing to bet that those who give to others in greater numbers and quantitIes will be conservatives over liberals.
It most certainly is your argument. You have more than once given broad condemnation to conservatives and the Republican party for not caring about the poor.
Again, you lie
RBHILL, SecondSon, medullah, whodey, KellyJay? What gives? Are you afraid of being primaried or some equivalent psychological or peer group retribution?
The thread topic is Trump's personal morality, ethics and character - seen through the prism of Christian principles, as laid out by Mark Galli - the topic isn't Suzianne's personal morality, ethics and character. What's with all this dancing around and condemnation of Spirituality Forum posters?
The topic is about an editorial in the Christianity Today magazine. Read the OP again.
