@avalanchethecat saidThe thing is, it's Christ; if we put our faith in faith, it's all us.
That's one way of looking at things, and if it works for you and makes you feel better about the world, about people and about the human condition then that's a good thing, and I'd hate to convince you that you were wrong so I'm not going to try. In fact, while I cannot share it, I do actually rather envy you your faith.

Try reading the entire book of Galatians. It’s not long. And the Apostle Paul gets right to the point of refuting your doctrine in the opening verses of chapter 3 (though he does that in other places as well.)
<<If what you say is true then there would be no need for Paul to say that.
According to you they have eternal life, and all their sins are forgiven >>
No, not according to me. I don’t know the heart of another man, let alone men who have been dead 2,000 years.
<<There is NO INHEITANCE for Christian Saints who live in sin>>
Right. Because Christians who live in sin obviously do not have saving faith. How do I know this? Because the Holy Spirit has not indwelt them. How do I know that? Because when the Holy Spirit indwells a new believer, He (the Holy Spirit) begins to change that believer’s heart and, consequently, his or her thoughts and behavior.
When you know you are a child of God and are under no condemnation (Romans 8:1,) that has a profound impact for the better on how you live. As Pastor Joseph Prince says, “Right believing will always lead to right living.”
What Pastor Prince says and preaches is Biblical.
“The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
(1 Corinthians 15:56-57)
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
(Galatians 5:1)
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
(John 8:36)
I could quote a lot more.
@fmf saidHis (Rajk's) topics matter little, even to him.
It's interesting that you didn't mention James in your response.
His posts are just another opportunity to insult other Christians and elevate himself. He thinks people will assume that because he says these things, he'll do what he says. No one sees evidence of this. He never talks about his supposed "works". He has no testimony to back up what he says. He denigrates other Christians and assumes what they do, but he never talks about what he does and how he supposedly escapes the fate he foretells for them. From him, I do see plenty of evidence of the very same "mouth worship" he accuses others of.
Doing, not talking, he says. But he has no testimony. What are we to make of this? I see him talking, not doing. Yeah.
He should remember another verse from Matthew, his favorite Gospel author:
"So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen." -- Matthew 20:16, KJV
While he's there, maybe he can read the parable involved, too. He's no better than other Christians here. Not worse, but no better.

No one knows what people do off this website (and I certainly wouldn’t advise anyone to share that given the trolling trio,) but rajk999 displays a level of hatred in here that goes well beyond what I’ve ever seen from another Christian - online or off.
In fact, he said earlier today he doesn’t like the term “Christian,” but prefers the terms “sheep” and “goats.” He seems to be hanging his hat (and his eternal fate) almost exclusively on a parable which I believe he’s misinterpreting.
But he won’t read commentaries on that parable (or commentaries on anything else) because they’re from “church Christians.”

@ghost-of-a-duke saidHey Ghost,
Stop accusing others of trolling personal info and I won't raise the fact you were banned for doing precisely that.
Take your accusations and condemnation and shove ‘em.

@pb1022 saidIts because of Christians like you I do not like the word Christian. You people have destroyed what Jesus and the Apostles created with your false doctrines, You have created a group of arrogant mouth worshippers who are worse than the Pharisees that Jesus condemned.

@rajk999 saidYou view only a tiny sliver of the Holy Bible and have reduced it to “Do good works. Jesus will judge.”
Its because of Christians like you I do not like the word Christian. You people have destroyed what Jesus and the Apostles created with your false doctrines, You have created a group of arrogant mouth worshippers who are worse than the Pharisees that Jesus condemned.
You ignore the importance of faith, belief and prayer, even though the Holy Bible is filled with Scripture on the importance of those subjects.
You devalue and have really reduced to nothing what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross. You claim no one can know if they’re saved on earth even though the Bible says the opposite.
You deny the deity of Christ and consistently insult, condemn with false accusations and bear false witness against Christians on here.
Tell me how what you do on here is any different from what Satan does.

suzianne was being far too generous in her assessment of you.
The level of hatred and dishonesty that comes from you is off the charts compared to anyone else.
Nearly every post of yours includes an insult or lie, and your posts are often exclusively insults and lies.
@rajk999 saidI like James.
Here's why -
James is the Apostle that repeats in bold brash terms certain truths spoken by Jesus CHrist, pertaining to good works and righteousness, and which run contrary to their church doctrine -
1. Faith and works are two separate and distinct elements both of which are required to be a righteous Christian Saint.
2. Faith without works is dead.
Here is a convers ...[text shortened]... n, and Judde all spoke in similar terms about faith and works, and that faith alone is worthless[/b]
I just don't like phonies like you.
@suzianne saidYour dispute with Rajk999 is over the theology of "good works" [and other things]. He is here to discuss what the Bible says and what his interpretation of it is. He's explained to you umpteen times that he isn't interested in sharing personal information about his life ~ and his activities ~ away from here.
Doing, not talking, he says. But he has no testimony. What are we to make of this? I see him talking, not doing. Yeah.

@fmf saidAnd yet he falsely tells Christians on here who believe in salvation by Grace through faith in Christ Jesus that they do no good works and are going to hell.

If he’s going to falsely claim Christians on this site do no good works, he should expect the question of what good works he does.
I suspect he does nothing but run his mouth. He seems to be very good at that.
