Why only a thousand years?

Not long for a God....seems rather a lame assed attempt at sounding grandeous by a overly superstitous grossly unaware persons (plural to denote the many many many people who have written & translated & re written & re translated "Gods own words" (KJ2) all without error! in the bible)

l wouldve gone for a much longer period - what about 241,106 years,now that is impressive. Your God is such an underachiever settling for 1000.

It is all in the master plan of fulfilling the prophecies of the second coming.
Satan must be allowed to tempt mankind again before He and all evil is
thrown into the lake of fire and this Earth is melted down and a new perfect

Aahhhhhh so the thousand years is actually a trick? is this to trick satan? or will he be defeated before the thousand years starts? if he will then why does it have to be only a thousand years that he rules for? hang on, if god is all knowing, all powerful why hasnt he already defeated satan?
