So you think Europeans consider India as a country of eccentrics ?
27th August from a sensible Indian.
I bet the average person in India is more happy than the average person in my suburb ,(in Brisbane , Australia)
I, myself, consider Indians to be more sane than westerners in general , (although I do admit that the generation born after 1990 seem to be much more intelligent and non-biased towards other cultures than the previous "fifties-centric" view of the baby boomers generation.)
Having said this, based on a non-fearful interpretation of Indian culture(s), I haven't been to India myself, so I do not have direct experience of in India.
Do you think my observation loosely resembles what you think about your own country , or am I off the mark? I would love to hear your response.

[Everyone please note that at the start of the book it was stressed that it didn't matter if you got male characters for females and vice versa. Everyone has a male and female side.
Also it claims to be a blend of Tarot,Astrology (dont know what type π) and Numerology.]

Actually, I'd be surprised if there are any villians. If people were criticized most would deny the criticisms even if they were valid and say to themselves, "Obviously, this book is not at all accurate". By only including "ego-rub", many will think the descriptions applicable to themselves even if they aren't and say to themselves, "Wow, this book is remarkably accurate".
I would implore the readers (of their of character profiles), to be honest and tell me if it is very accurate or way off. Thats the only way to perhaps get something out of this. Otherwise I may as well be reading your fortunes from the daily paper horrorscopes π
Point taken
note: there may be a lack of negative characters but their are some mischievious, misbehaving characters that sometimes surprise the reader who may have been putting up a facsard of goody-goodyness but deep down is really a manipulator or some such.
Example: My mum. She makes out like she's a sane, righteous, LAW ABIDING person however, even though she may not "Take advantage of a situation", she may be thinking it.
August 26th. Stitch (Lilo and Stitch 2002)
Irreplacable
Forceful
Alluring.
Hmmm... I think she'd be puzzled at the first one and not really agreeing with the other two, but I sense, deep down, she has her own little part of her mind where she plays out her "alluring", maybe even "forceful" scenarios.Hehehe. Sorry ma! I dobbed you into the forum.

You look up a birth date.
A description is given about the person born on that date.
Rearrange the dates with the descriptions.
Everyone is happy. π
Surely , you jest.
This Disneystrology thing is totally new to me, like I said a book was left here and I'm just quoting out of it. I have no opinion either way and wanted to present it to the forum to see what they think.
I knew that 90%+ would think its a load of bull, if not everyone, but I presented it trtuhfully with an open mind. So you could say that this thread is more an example about my conduct rather than me trying to convince anyone that they should be become Disneystrologists π

I discovered decades ago that discriptives are universal and generalised, and without merit, meaning, or purpose, except to make people feel good about themselves and generate revenue for its practitioners.
You're wasting you time taking it seriously. The terms used to describe a person based on their birth date can be applied across the board.
It's all bogus. The truth is we're not that good. If one considers the amount of money made by those charlatans and the fact that not one person has benefited in any meaningful way by adherents to it, one is left with only one rational respons.
Dump it from your mind.

The astrology you read in the daily papers is obviously a load of bull.
This book claims to blend astrology,Tarot and Numerology.
Tis not in my nature to dump anything that is not harmful, and since it is Disney (child orientated) perhaps it may help some begginers get an idea of themselves.
Or perhaps it is absolute crap.
So far no one has come back and said that they agree or disagree with their "readings" , so I have no idea where to put this book (ie. in the "dump it" section, or the " Hmmm maybe there is something to this" section)
edit: In my Op, I said this was just a bit of fun and not real serious, so dont worry, I wont be giving the publishers any money. But someone paid 25$ for it and left it at my place.
It has been offered up to the forum to do with as they please.
your point has been noted. also the fact that you asked for your reading seems to indicate that either you are just making fun of me, or that there is a little part of you that is curious about the whole thing.

This is at the exact same level as newspaper horoscopes. If you Google for "People born on june 17th", you will find that some of the more famous ones include
Angela Merkel (German Prime Minister)
Barrie Manilow (Singer)
Ken Loach (movie director)
Kyle Boller (American Footballer)
Tori Welles (porn star)
Igor Stravinsky (composer)
Any description that matches against all of that lot is going to be so general that it will match pretty much anyone.
Also, the more personal astrology that uses people's full date and time of birth and all the other stuff has been tested and found to be just as useless.
And there is no plausible mechanism as to how it could work either.
The claim to blend astrology,Tarot and Numerology is just more bollox heaped on top. Throw the book on the pile marked 'mildely entertaining trash'.

Yes,yes.
Still, the fact that some part of you is open to this,(which is (on the surface), just crap), shows you are open to stuff.

- I am no more dependable than the next man.
- I don't consider myself to be a good leader (I don't think I have ever really lead anything).
- Truth seeking? well maybe.
Have a quick look on the web at all the famous people with my birthday. Do you think those adjectives would be the best ones to describe everyone on that list?
It's not just crap on the surface, it is crap all the way down!
