God was unaware of the existance of cats in those
ancient times so we have no guidance on the matter.

Similarly we dont know if we go to hell for stewing
kittens in goat's milk.

I think this may have been for health reasons back in those days. Don't forget that they were wondering in the wilderness for 40 years and the sanitation may have not been to good under those conditions. The Apostle Paul did not seem to worry about such things in his day.

A lot of the recipes and preparation methods to really give your dish that cutting edge finish been badly translated in the bible so that the result is a sort of bland hodge ,podge confusing message.

About the only thing consistent with the rest of the book....
