From the Reasoning Book. P 138:

Have not Jehovah’s Witnesses made errors in their teachings?
Jehovah’s Witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets. They have made mistakes. Like the apostles of Jesus Christ, they have at times had some wrong expectations.—Luke 19:11; Acts 1:6.
The Scriptures provide time elements related to Christ’s presence, and Jehovah’s Witnesses have studied these with keen interest. (Luke 21:24; Dan. 4:10-17) Jesus also described a many-featured sign that would tie in with the fulfillment of time prophecies to identify the generation that would live to see the end of Satan’s wicked system of things. (Luke 21:7-36) Jehovah’s Witnesses have pointed to evidence in fulfillment of this sign. It is true that the Witnesses have made mistakes in their understanding of what would occur at the end of certain time periods, but they have not made the mistake of losing faith or ceasing to be watchful as to fulfillment of Jehovah’s purposes. They have continued to keep to the fore in their thinking the counsel given by Jesus: “Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.”—Matt. 24:42.
Matters on which corrections of viewpoint have been needed have been relatively minor when compared with the vital Bible truths that they have discerned and publicized. Among these are the following: Jehovah is the only true God. Jesus Christ is not part of a Trinitarian godhead but is the only-begotten Son of God. Redemption from sin is possible only through faith in Christ’s ransom sacrifice. The holy spirit is not a person but is Jehovah’s active force, and its fruitage must be evident in the lives of true worshipers. The human soul is not immortal, as the ancient pagans claimed; it dies, and the hope for future life is in the resurrection. God’s permission of wickedness has been because of the issue of universal sovereignty. God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind. Since 1914 we have been living in the last days of the global wicked system of things. Only 144,000 faithful Christians will be kings and priests with Christ in heaven, whereas the rest of obedient mankind will receive eternal life on a paradise earth.
Another factor to consider regarding the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses is this: Have these truly uplifted people morally? Are those who adhere to these teachings outstanding in their communities because of their honesty? Is their family life beneficially influenced by applying these teachings? Jesus said that his disciples would be readily identified because of having love among themselves. (John 13:35) Is this quality outstanding among Jehovah’s Witnesses? We let the facts speak for themselves.

Dont you think most religons would identify with something wishy-washy like that?

Dont most religons profess to lead ones soul to be beautiful/good/true?

Would you not say it is a very difficult trying to compare ,(honestly and objectively), one religon to another, as they all have so many overlapping contentions and ideas...?

no its easy, all you need to do is look at all the religions that have killed members of their own religion (Catholic killing Catholic in the II world war, Protestants killing Catholics in Northern Ireland), then unless of course you construe killing each other as a loving act, its rather an easy affair. It should be noted that it was made with reference to true disciples of Christ, but i guess the same principle could apply elsewhere, as in the case of Muslim killing Muslim.

And there have been thousands of JW's that have served time in prison for not fighting for any country. That goes with what Jesus said at,

John 18:36 (King James Version)

36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

The main point here is that we only follow, honor and are subjects of the Kingdom Jesus was speaking of.

He also said @ Micah 4:3 (English Standard Version)
3 He shall judge between many peoples,
and shall decide for strong nations far away;
and they shall(A) beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore.

Matt 26:52 "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him. "All who use the sword will die by the sword.

We do not fight for any governments and remain neutral.

its really interesting, i was speaking with a friend, he stated that during the war his father, being a shipbuilder on the Clyde was except from military service (my own grandfather was also except because he was a coal miner), anyhow, he wanted to become a witness and as they were making war ships he decided to give it up, of course because he left, he was then drafted. Naturally, in view of Christs commands and the sanctity of life, he could not go and was jailed in Barlinnie prison. His family disowned him as well. There are of course many who state, you should have been fighting the Nazis, but i like the words of Mohandas Ghandi,

'I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill'.

Thats a good point, but it hardly covers the entirity of my points.
Just cause a religon hasn't killed its own members doesn't mean that it has autimatically worked everything out.
I dont know whether you are a false prophet yourself,(you're a but vague on that), but the JWs certainly seem to have a heavy negative charge hanging in the air around them....

" Heavy negative charge " ..😀 .. Well put.
RC trying to pass it off as interpreting the scripture. But what they have in fact done is to put firm dates and times on prophesies and have fooled millions of stupid people. There are many people who have sold property and disposed of their earthly possessions in anticipation of the return of Christ in the year/date predicted by the JWs and they have been disappointed.

Now the people are stupid but God has stated that false prophets will be severely punished.

i think it more than covers your point.

Please note we are not talking of persons of other religions, we are talking of Christians. i.e. those who profess to be disciples of Christ. Christ stated, 'you will know you are my disciples, by the love you have among YOURSELVES', Its a fairly simple act to look at how they behave and see the types of fruitage that they produce, is it not?

as for a heavy negative air, lets come right out with it, we are hated!

(Luke 6:22-23) . . .“Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man. r Rejoice in that day and leap, for, look! your reward is great in heaven, for those are the same things their forefathers used to do to the prophets.

(John 17:14) . . .I have given your word to them, but the world has hated them, because they are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.

Thats why our dear Friend Raji Paji makes us so happy, we really should thank him 😀

its not a matter of interpretation at all, you are condemned by your actions, your churches are filled with the innocent blood of millions of persons, whole generations of young men, slaughtered on the alter of war. Ravenous wolves Christ termed you, and with good reason, by their fruits you will recognise those men, enmities, strife, divisions, sects, about sums up Christendom perfectly.

We not only don't kill our own but would never kill anyone. As a general rule we don't even own guns unless they are needed for food.
And the negative charge has been explained in detail by Robbie but it seems Raj's direction in life is to sensationalize what ever he can about anything he does not agree with. He does that to all of us.
And Raj has no clue or even understands what an antichrist is. That would one that does all he can do to stop, hinder and go against what Jesus told all his followers to do and that is to teach, preach and do all we can to promote the message that Jesus preached. That is what our goal is and it is a simple one and true. Raj does nothing himself of the sort.
And Raj does not understand and grasp that simple assignment all Christians should be doing.

And this verse sums up the JWs perfectly :

II Pet 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

we are not prophets, we have never claimed to be inspired prophets, the watchtower has never claimed to be inspired of God, we are merely trying to understand prophecies ALREADY WRITTEN.
