And yes I did it to highlight this cowardly behaviour to the forum - divesgeester

Galvestons personal qualities have nothing to do with general forum etiquette and you utilized a thread under the guise of general forum etiquette to personally target and attack him, now if you had wanted to really discuss general forum ettiqute then that is a different matter but you did not and you have used this thread to once again personally target and vilify another user. If that does not constitute forum bullying and harassment then I don't know what does.

yes you stated to me that 'if i have the time to post my aging parents health notwithstanding' or words to that effect which is an indirect and rather snide remark once again targeting and attacking Galveston who is looking after his aging parents and no i will not waste my time trawling through many posts trying to find the exact remark, you made it and that is it.

Surely what divegeester has done is used a concrete and recurring example of bad forum etiquette to tee up what has been a lively thread on bad forum etiquette?

I think you will find that Galveston's name wasn't mentioned by anyone (certainly not me) until he himself sent the balloon up on page 3. The fact that everyone new who it was about speaks volumes for his (and your) reputation here.

Besides if I wanted to call him on it specifically I would have it's not against the rules, but I thought the thread would benefit from a longer cast and as you can see many other etiquette topics between other posters have been included adding to the tapestry of comment and tone throughout this exchange.

You are deliberately missing the point aren't you.

Issue 1 Galveston has a sick parent

Issue 2 Galveston uses this fact as an excuse not to respond to certain posters

They are separate issues.
