Chaney has often combined gay and British as an insult (whether in relation to sport, language etc).

If you truly believe he was saying 'polite and like a happy Britain' then you are lacking a few sandwiches in your hamper. (Chaney would consider that gay British humour).

By all means though, give an example where Chaney has ever used 'gay' in the manner you imply. (Or just admit you condone homophobic insults when they suit your purpose).

It's a part of his trolling persona: at times acting "polite", friendly, stroking the egos of other posters, etc. all serve to disguise that he's nothing more than a troll. He's been a troll pretty much since he started posting on this forum and that's always been a part of the act.

At the same time he was referring to me as a 'gay Britain' here, he was in the Clans forum calling the father of another poster a 'faggot' (accompanied by some other homophobic language not suitable for this forum).

Again, you are happy not to challenge this (or indeed a poster's intoxicated vitriol) when it gives you the opportunity to stick the boot in, especially when it involves someone who calls you out for being the forum coward and yellow livered spammer that you are.
