I am responsive to reason just not to yours or atheists in general.

I have no views on homosexuality so its your views on homossexuality that is ignorant and childish. What I said is that the Bible said tht homosexuality is a sin. What is still baffling to this day is that an atheist cares what the Bible says. That truly amazing.

I never referred to you proving anything in this thread. In general you try to prove your atheist position to theists. That alone makes you rather insecure in your beliefs. It must be worrying that maybe there is a God out there ... 😀 .. who wont like what you say about him.

If you were responsive to reason you wouldn't care who was making the argument,
only whether the argument itself was reasonable.

Atheists only care what the bible says, when theists take it literally.
And then it's only that we care what the theists think it says.


And speaking for myself, and all the atheists I know personally....

We really don't worry about whether there is a god or not, not even a little bit.

I see that you are still confused. I do not care what the bible says, per se. I care, however, about the prevailing social climate on a broad range of issues. What's truly amazing here is that the prevailing social climate is still significantly informed by ridiculous notions from -- no joke -- the Dark Ages. To see this, we have to look no further than your view on homosexuality (yes, you do have a view on it).

As for the rest, yes I am shaking in my boots about the possibility that there is a God out there. I'm sure such a being would absolutely smite me for not having sufficient reason to believe that He exists. After all, that sounds like the epitome of love and justice, right?

I get it. Atheists want to control what people think. You think that all people must believe that homosexuality is not a sin, just so that the gays will be happy. Well thats tough. Aint gonna happen. Gays will have to do what they do without the blessing of the Christian community. Get used to it. Grow some balls and go live your life without begging others to support you.
