Let's say I get five e-mails about a diverse array of topics:
-Buy Cialis
-Get Viagra, half off!
-Got Rolex?
-NEED ASSISTANCE URGENT PLEASE HELP
-Re: In moderation not done wakingly
They're all obviously spam, despite the 'diversity' of topics. Diversity is a lousy standard by which to gauge spam. Spam is characterized simply by a deluge of messages that nobody wants.
Most of STANG's posts fall into this category; even those on his side of the issue end up arguing against his banning rather than actually posting in support of his issues, or they try (and fail) to get him to change his approach. As if his annoying repetitive catch phrases aren't bad enough, he uses other attention-whoring tactics like titling threads with lots of arrows () and ALL CAPS.

Is a pain in the ass the same as a spammer?
I think the Clan page idea is a good one, BTW. Why don't you go for it; I haven't even bothered to read anything on the Clan page since my return. That might at least wake people up.
Ahaa !
