this is simply not true he has stated that he doesn't care about giving or receiving personal remarks himself but he has concerned himself with my giving and receiving personal remarks, that's a double standard and it makes him a hypocrite.

He has concerned himself with your blatant hypocrisy. You have one standard for yourself and another for other people. He doesn't. The issue, then, is your hypocrisy.

His standard is the same for himself and the same for others. He doesn't mind personal remarks, including yours. So he's not hypocritical. You, on the other hand, have one standard for yourself and a different one for other people. So you are hypocritical

Come sir, if you can talk freely and coarsely about the figure of others, you surely have no objections to comments about your own (self-confessed) portly frame?

He is not concerned with your personal remarks; he is concerned with your double standard and your hypocrisy.

I wonder if robbie is working his way towards arguing that he has a personal, private, unconventional definition of "hypocrisy"?
