We agree, I often play with beef for a stew too -but that Glengoyne is 58.8 and since I am asking for it I know it asks for lamb;
A normal lamb stock always do, however my personal stock tastes like gravy: I always use a few more lamb bones (I go for this stew after having butterflied a leg of lamb the other day) broken into small pieces, add some sm ...[text shortened]... cool then off it goes to the saucepan with the animal. It’s so yummy ye have love in yer tummy😵
I think that you are more fond of a single malt
than you are of an Irish stew.

avalachethecat and this bug are on the same path; when they are hungry they eat, when they are thirst they drink; time for a tasty stew, I will share it with you;
Black Beastie’s Irish Stew
4 lamb neck fillets cut from 2 middle necks (keep them bones and make lamb stock)
700gr carrots
2 onions
450gr potatoes Maris Piper
450gr potatoes Charlott ...[text shortened]... minutes that stayed in the glass became really the water of life;
May You Always Be Happy

btw, you wouldn't need the cinnamon, oak and brown sugar in her glass. Just draw her a good portion of Jamaican spiced rum. Trust me on this, mon. 🙂
(at least that's what I would prefer... I'm not an Irish lass, though.)

I know next to nothing about rum, but from times to times I enjoy a Coruba -too light for my taste but well balanced- or a Captain Morgan Private Stock -this, yes, I love it;
I trust you. What rum would you recommend me?
😵

Most wines are agreeable to women.
I'm not familiar with your Coruba, but I'm hardly a world traveler, either.
Captain Morgan Private Stock is among the best spiced rum you can find, you're already ahead of the game there. Bacardi's spiced rum is okay, fine for ordinary occasions, but stay with the CM. Besides spiced rum, my preferences run to any of Bacardi's rums. Their flavored rums (orange, lemon, raspberry, apple, coconut, watermelon, peach, strawberry, cherry, grape) are my favorite mixers. Your mileage may vary.
