To me 'son of god' means: god created ALL as his equal in everything ...[text shortened]... ted us and we can't create god.
What we did after we were created is another subject

So if you an equal to Jesus Christ then why are we talking about him thousands of years after he walked the earth and people like you and myself will fade into oblivion? It seems that he is the revolutionary here so you have the option of jumping on board or not. So the real question here is, what is the revolution about? After reading the gospels is it just me or is it strange that Christ did not go around proclaiming who he was? In fact, he asked his disciple Peter without even telling him and he said that he was the Messiah. Interestingly, Christ then says that the Father has revealed this to him and charges him that he is to tell NO one. So I guess my question is, if we are all "Messiahs" then why was it a big deal?

Jesus was a teacher amongst many. So what's the big deal?

I am equal, so are you but that does not mean that I know myself as good as Jesus knew himself.
He was a living example of what a (wo)man can become and still nowadays there are few people who have that kind of self-knowing/awareness.

There is no god, so obviously he is not its son.

Naturally if you view Christ as a mere man as opposed to the ONLY begotten son of God as the Bible portrays him you would be forced to think this. All that can then be said is that he was a "good" man or a "better" man than you or myself.

As for myself, it is my belief that the source of this "goodness" was a supernatural source as where you view it as simply knowing yourself better. The problem with this is that I have seen people come to Christ and become "good" or "better" than they were before. Now does coming to Christ mean they discovered themselves all of a sudden? I suppose you would be forced to say yes as where I say it was a supernatural awakening. I say the dramatic sudden change that I have witness favors my theory.
