It's not that obviously!

I just don't see how you can have the bare faced cheek to criticise another reeligion for doing exactly what your one does.

No its not the same, we try to make reparation and the door is always open for a prodigal son and it only effects baptised witnesses, if my son were to become a Muslim tomorrow, as an unbaptised witness he would not be disfellowshipped, nor disowned. Also we are not in the habit of tying people up, putting them in the boot of a car and threatening to throw them from a bridge.

The principle is exactly the same. That you refuse to see it is hardly surprising.

Reparation = "Come back to our religion or we'll disfellowship you." Right?

If I'm wrong, tell me an alternate acceptable means of reparation.

You criticised a religion for doing exactly what your religion does and I called you on it. Have you nothing more to say than this childish petulant retort?

I did not critise any religion I merely mentioned what happened and you in your ardour to teach me nothing did exactly that. I have nothing to gain from corresponding with you absolutely nothing and will refrain from doing so until you have something worth reading.

You're a hypocrite robbie, plain and simple.

Actually I find it equally revealing and amusing that you feel comfortable criticising a Muslim family for ostracising a family member who became a JW, when the internet hosts a plethora of help sites for ex JWs who have been ostracised for leaving your church.

You couldn't make this stuff up, it's why I love coming to this forum.

But aren't members of ANY organized religions hypocrites at their heart? All of them pretending they are following a real god when 100% of ALL of those religions are following man made god's in the first place?

Pretending all this bullshyte came from a god who happens to have human attributes? Like 'I am a jealous god'?

How stupid do you think people are to believe such rot?

Oh wait, I forgot, that rot has already duped about 2 billion people.

A GREAT illustration of the intelligence of the human race.

Yeah, a god who can make entire frigging UNIVERSES would be JEALOUS of humans? Sure, it could happen. Maybe on Saturday Night Live but not in the REAL universe.

You don't understand. God loves us humans most of all of His creations. God is jealous that we would turn to another instead of him. Satan wishes to turn us away from God. That is why Satan tempted Eve to disobey God's instructions. Now do you get it?

Right. A god who can make UNIVERSES jealous of humans. Let your god come down and tell me that, till then it is just another religious scam, among many.

God did come down and tell us that. We call Him Jesus Christ.
