I don't hate Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddists. I was not attempting to be an ass, I asked an honest question. I was raised Christian, consider myself Christian through salvation. However, it has also occurred to me that I was raised in a Christian setting where I was constantly told that the Jewish scripture is simply the Old Testament. Some of my rese ...[text shortened]... because they fail to pass x or y standards? I don't know, but I'm interested in finding out.
The issue I addressed was more about opposition rather than hatred.
But I am going to give you a benefit of a doubt and retract my criticism of your initial post.

Do you here the silence on these forums. It is deafening, no? And why is that? It is because Judism does not attempt to actively recruit followers, hence the absence of apolgetics on these forums.. It has more to do with being born into the religion I think much like the Amish. Another reason I think Judism seems to "lay low" so to speak is antisemitism. I did a thread once covering antisemtism and my research startled me. Prior to that I had no idea as to the scope of antisemitism over the years throughout the world. The most appalling discovery, however, was that "Chrisitians" seem to have helped play a large role in the persecution of the Jews throughout the centuries. In my research I came to the conclusion that the holocaust was merely a natural progression from such persecution.. I say this being a Christian and being filled with a great deal of shame regarding those "Chrisitans" who came before me. Therefore, if I were a Jew, I too would probably not make so much as a peep about what I believe or even that I exist.
What a bunch of absolute rubbish. As an atheist, I find Christianity and Judaism to equally ridiculous. But as Christianity is an evangelical religion, and Judaism is not, Christianity is by far the more contemptible of the two.
Sing it! "Hello silence my old friend....."
