Christ is dynamically powerful. Once He gets on the inside as the "Spirit of life"
He can break every fetter and snap any chain of evil passion, sinning, obsession, perversion, bigotry, hatefulness, spitefulness, resentment, anything of the fallen Adam.

Christ can do a truly inside job of healing, transformation, and conforming to His own image.

The man or woman wanting life should look AWAY from their sin. They should look away from the evil. Even they should look away from their own good. They should learn to look away to Jesus. Looking away to Jesus is the key to His dynamic salvation permeating, spreading, and growing in the mind and soul.

Do not focus on a sin. Look away to Jesus.
Do not focus on your own goodness. Even more so you need to look away to Jesus.

Looking at the sin and arguing self righteously about the sin only stirs up self effort, self justification, self consciousness, self, self, self. That is just the worst thing the sinner can do. The sinner wanting freedom must learn to look AWAY to Jesus.

What is her past? Jesus.
What is his history? Jesus.
What is his future? Jesus, the Lord Jesus.
What is his now? Jesus - "Lord Jesus I love You. I love You Lord."
What is his future, his destiny - Jesus.
