Whatever meaning gets collectively attached to the word, "agenda" is irrelevant to sense of purpose;
agenda implies bull dogmatic rigidity while sense of purpose is adaptive and flexible. I, for one, am here
primarily to make friends (with those who are relaxed and have a reciprocal capacity to do so). -Bob
