You characterized some of my posts as “nasty” and said they reflected poorly on my Christian faith. So I asked if a Biblical passage where Jesus strongly rebuked the Pharisees was “nasty” in your view. If you admit it was, then you have to acknowledge that what you think of as “nasty” - but what is better described as “indignant” - is not verboten in Christianity.

What are you guys doing?
Why would you do that? This is absurd.

You ask: "What the heck is going on?"
What's your best guess?
Originally posted by @philokaliaI believe people were reacting to his hypocrisy, not the biblical passage he referenced.

Do you not see the contrast between spitting out vitriol across various threads (for pretty much the whole day), before popping in here to praise the Lord?
Where is the evidence of the indwelling God, he claims inspires him to good works, in the way he conducts himself in this forum?

Originally posted by @dj2beckerMy accusation that Romans is lying about having gone to Cambridge University, working as a lecturer and a consultant etc.? That's my reaction to his "banter". And I am clearly right.
Is your accusation that Romans is lying 'harmless banter'?

Even when I told him that I found his comments borderline offensive he replied that he was 'trying' to be offensive.
Is that how you would expect a Christian to behave?!
FMF: My accusation that Romans is lying about having gone to Cambridge University, working as a lecturer and a consultant etc.? That's my reaction to his "banter". And I am clearly right.Regarding Romans1009's claim that he went to Cambridge University etc.? It's obviously untrue. Me saying so is not vitriolic. And it is not "banter" by me; it is a reaction to his "banter". I think you are going to realize sooner or later that it's untrue. and that you have gone out on a limb rather unwisely with this. Don't you see? His claim that he went to Cambridge University is non-spitting and non-vitriolic "banter". The same cannot be said for what Romans1009 has been saying to Ghost of a Duke.

Originally posted by @fmfSo you are saying that there is a zero percent chance that his claims are true? Is that correct?

You are being unreasonable.

Thread update:
1. Becker admits to deliberately misleading people.
2. Romans admits to deliberately trying to be offensive.
Praise the Lord.
