All you freaking God-botherers probably do not realise that religion is used to stop you from questioning the status quo.
It encourages you to accept your lot in life and not challenge the financial inequalities in society.
God made you the way you are, and who are you to question his wisdom by protesting about injustices around you.
After all, in the hymn "All things bright and beautiful" the following verse says it all:
"The rich man in his castle,
The poor man at his gate,
He made them, high or lowly,
And ordered their estate."
So the next time you are in church and the collection plate is passed, just have a think about why you are giving money to an oppressive regime.
Wonder also why you are contributing to the church's state:
If the church has fallen on hard times and needs your money to survive then by donating, you are contravening God's will.
Remember;
"The rich man in his castle,
The poor man at his gate,
He made them, high or lowly,
And ordered their estate."

Didn't Martin Luther King question the status qou? He was a Christian, and many who went to jail with him during the Cival Rights struggle were also. There are numerous other examples throughout history of Christians who fought for Social Justice. I'm a bit busy now but will try to post more later.

Christianity at least attempts to spend money wisely and
stands for the 'good' of mankind.
You don't have to believe in God to be a good Christian.

no-you don't have to beleive in God to be a good person. If you do not love God you are not a Christain, and to love Him you have to beleive in him...

Christians love life and the God who created it...

Technically I don't think so, but IMHO to be a Christian in the broader sense of the word, you need to be a follower of Christ.
edit1: darn. Sorry Genius. I should have listened to my mom who taught me never to interrupt adults when they are having a discussion.

But the Bible says that God is life.
I love life so I love God.
Do I have to believe in scriptures and texts to be a Christian?
and to be a Christain you have to beleive that Christ died to save you, love him, and have faith in the God of Abraham and Moses. Many Jews love Him and have faith in Him. But are they Christians? no.
Basically, a Christain is someone who follows Christ.

Not sure how accurate these are, I'm not a great bible reader.

Jesus says "I am the resurrection and the life."
so, you beleive Jesus was a meer prophet? now that is a pretty big statement for a prophet!
