Let me inform you that I am the father of a recognized genius. He was
tested as having an I.Q. of 187 and the testers thought something
was wrong so they tested him again with a different test and he
scored 189.
As for your son's 'recognised' genius, if you really want to go that route, please tell us where this recognition is and let us read it.

P.S. You might try a little prayer ever now and then.

So you are cheating, right?

care who wins a chess match? I would not think about bothering
God on such a trivial matter.

genius level I.Q. I do not know if there is any record somewhere that I
could refer you to, but he went to a high school that only high acheivers
could go and was in the gifted group that took college level classes and
still graduated as valedictorian. The school was called A.R. Johnson Health
Science and Engineering Magnet School. He is too modest to brag, so
as a parent I do all the bragging. But maybe you are right that his
acheivements have nothing to do with how intelligent I might be. So
forget it then. You can believe whatever you like.

I'm guessing this thread should be kicked out of Spirituality, since this witch hunt has nothing to do with Spirituality.

think, it was at the end of a book, four dialogues of Plato, in which he elucidated upon
the term, eventually coming to the conclusion, that, genius is originality. Indeed, how
does one put originality into a numerical equivalent?

Lets hope your son does not turn out like that. Sidis discovered through his math the idea of black holes 20 years before Chandrasekhar but didn't publish. He taught himself greek and latin when he was 3, and obtained an MD at the age of 10 but ended up collecting subway tokens in New York City, dying in 1944, a penniless pariah.

I would rather my son to be very smart instead of a genius anyway.
I think that is the case with him. But I wish he were not gay.
