FMF may harangue you [whodey], but while his accusations may be received as somewhat insulting, he doesn't seem to be simply slinging insults. In my experience, if he calls someone a liar or a hypocrite or so forth, he usually has a pretty sound basis for it ...
What whodey also fails to mention is that, while I very rarely resort to gratuitous insult, he - on the Debates Forum - has accused me of being a supporter of Al Qaeda, a Holocaust denier, a communist, a supporter of genocide, a supporter of 'Death Panels', a supporter of authoritarianism, an anti-semite, a Nazi, a supporter of terrorism, and so on and so on and so forth - all because I disagreed with him about things.
All these accusations were intended as insults and not as analysis. And whodey's insults only serve to diminish his credibility all the more

About the closest thing I came to calling you was a communist. My reasoning was that you are left leaning, which you admit. So what does being left leaning mean? It means you support more government control. What is communism? It is full government control. So even if you don't advocate full government control, you are supporting the road towards that end.

I think Whodey deserves the benefit of doubt, for he is passionate about his tea party/republican/ultra conservative/right wing/i love Sarah Palin even though shes a moron and would be better to spend her time making flapjacks rather than politicising issues, type of stance. I see him more as a victim than a victimiser, for he has been reared upon the bosom of American media circus, fuelled by corrupt elements with nothing more than he who has the biggest wad of cash, buys the most mud to sling at his /her competitors. Its endemic to their system, Whodey is merely a reflection of it. While of course we do not attempt to justify his accusations, i prefer to view them as symptoms of a sick system. I also find him quite amicable, even after heated debate, which is quite refreshing to be honest.
