Why, you who hate me, do you love me,
and hate those who love me?
You who deny me, confess me,
and you who confess me, deny me.
You who tell the truth about me, lie about me,
and you who have lied about me, tell the truth about me.
You who know me, be ignorant of me,
and those who have not known me, let them know me.
For I am knowledge and ignorance.
I am shame and boldness.
I am shameless; I am ashamed.
I am strength and I am fear.
I am war and peace.
Give heed to me.
I am the one who is disgraced and the great one.

This thread is probably not the place for it, but in summary God has put us here on earth to learn the nature of good and evil through experience. This dose two things, 1. It teaches people why evil is a poor choice and why choosing good is the only way to lasting peace and happiness, and 2. It will ultimately bring everybody back to God. A few years here on earth cannot compare to eternity so this leads to the greater good.
You are admitting that he allows a certain amount of evil to go unchecked in preparation for a greater amount of good? How is this possible? If he is all powerful there is no need for him to do this, the greater good could be accomplished without any need for evil. Therefore he is malevolent to allow ANY evil to exist if he is able but unwilling for any amount of time.
I’d prefer you to respond to this either in the “God, the Schizophrenic” thread, or perhaps make a new one. Thanks.

These solitary hills have always been dear to me.
Seated here, this sweet hedge, which blocks the distant horizon opening inner silences and interminable distances.
I plunge in thought to where my heart, frightened, pulls back.
Like the wind which I hear tossing the trembling plants which surround me, a voice from the inner depths of spirit shakes the certitudes of thought.
Eternity breaks through time, past and present intermingle in her image.
In the inner shadows I lose myself,
drowning in the sea-depths of timeless love.
