Replace "God" with any other deity or any other supernatural
being or the FSM, Tooth Fairy etc.
then
you will be able to answer the question.
It really is as simple as that!
(And readily comprehended even by you if you give it a chance)
being or the FSM, Tooth Fairy etc." wolfgang59
Because "any other deity or any other supernatural being or the FSM,
Tooth Fairy etc." are human beings, not supernatural beings.
One question remains unanswered:
"If God didn't exist, what possible difference would it make whether
or not people put their faith in Him?" -JV
... and why criticize and mock and hate those people who put their faith
in the Son of God who has revealed the God the Father?

"And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, [little more than no faith at all] you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you." Matthew 17: 20 NASB Doubt vs. Faith; No vs. Yes; Rejection vs. Acceptance: it's an On or Off Proposition. God made it simple, so that all may be saved. So simple it insults arrogant intellectualism and confounds the natural (Dichotomous) mind when negative volition is in play. We complicate God's Grace Plan at our peril.

In Scientific Exploration, objective scientists actually welcome being proven wrong so that their search for absolute reality may continue less encumbered with faulty premises and unsupported conclusions. Even Albert Einstein eventually realized that the end of all scientific tunnels is either falsity or a leap of faith. Why do most atheists refuse to accept the possibility that their summary dismissals may be wrong? Why wouldn't all honest atheists welcome the possibility that God exists?
