@pb1022 saidIt's not possible for mere mortals to keep the law perfectly.
Jesus Christ said the two greatest commandments were to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.
Does anyone here think any human being is capable of loving God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength or loving his neighbor as himself?
I’m not saying we shouldn’t try to keep those commandments, but does anyone think a human being can succeed in keeping either of them?
But Jesus did.
The righteousness that the law could not produce, necessary to appear in the presence of God, was procured for us by Christ.
His righteousness is imputed to the believer.
It's called God's grace. It is not a license to sin.

@josephw saidWhat ??? The only reason why you cannot contribute anything in a meaningful way so far is because your church doctrine is garbage.
According to your theology even everybody else is included.
Yours is twisted theology. Heresy. You're a cherry picker selecting those verses, which you destroy with your doctrine, that support your ill conceived beliefs.

So if no human being can keep the two greatest commandments, how are we saved? How are we justified and made righteous with God?
Just FYI: I know the answers to these questions; I’m simply trying to make a point by asking them.
@rajk999 saidAll my doctrine is taken from the scriptures.

For you to say otherwise is revealing of the distortion that exists in you mind relative to the truth of scripture.
@rajk999 saidDo you think accepting and believing in Jesus Christ and in His Resurrection is “doing nothing?”
Well quote the scripture then. What are you afraid of.
Quote where is says DO NOTHING to get eternal life
But here’s a verse for you:
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
(Romans 6:23)

@galveston75 saidI never used that word 'saved' until you brought it up, so you are arguing with yourself.
Uhhh. That you are not saved? Yep that's the point.
All people are however justified by the death of Christ.
