Discrimination based race or sexual orientation? Yes.
It's illegal? Bearing in mind this decision?

It's illegal, for one. It's immoral, for another.
Maybe you should read up on some law pertaining to this matter, and get the facts rather than speak from your emotions. From the top of my head it is not illegal for churches to hire people who fit into their beliefs and standards and operating environment, and that includes discriminating who to hire based on gender and sexual orientation. In the case of churches it is neither illegal nor is it immoral. Seriously why would gay people want to work in a church?

Yes. That's why this Supreme Court ruling makes no sense.

Well, you running contrary to the supreme court so it makes no sense to argue with you. It appears to be the law that churches can use their discretion in these cases,

So what? The Supreme Court once ruled in favor of slavery. Or as you call it, "the good ol' days".

Slavery is allowed in the bible. Homssexuality, and women preaching in the churches is not. There are two sexes, not 69. The church should uphold those biblical guidelines. If you cannot conform for some reason then find a job elsewhere. There is no requirement in the bible for churches to provide employment for all types of people.

Bible Schmible. It's just a collection of books, including ones by some of the earliest known self-documenting racists.

As for women preaching, tell that to Priscilla, Spanky!

To be honest I dont support Pauls teachings regarding women not preaching. But this is beside the point. Churches who would like to follow clearly stated bible teachings should be allowed to do so without getting permission from the government. Hope this is clear. Too many times people take things personally or apply principles to me personally when it should be obvious that it is not.

Why?

Why?
Because then the govt becomes God with the right to control church teachings.

Church teachings come from God, not man otherwise they are pointless.

Didn't they teach you about logical fallacies in your schools?

Yes. But how is that relevant? The Government cannot dictate church teachings.
