from what i understand from reading some threads in the general forum, no1 has compiled some of his evidence against users that he has reason to suspect of engine use in his private unmoderated CC forum. so RHPers have been popping in and out of membership in CC to view his evidence. the CC is not accepting or issuing new challenges, so there is no other reason i can see to join the CC. so everything ivanhoe said is true, but he is preying on your ignorance of these developments. i admit it is rather humorous to see him in the same clan as no1, bbarr, froggy and others.

I was briefly a member of the CC; I saw a weathervane there, took note, and moved on. The forecast turned out to be accurate.

The marauder asked me to join the CC clan so I could see the evidence he gathered against cheaters. The private clan forums are unmoderated, that's why he decided to present his evidence there. I do not plan to play any games for the CC clan. They do not accept any challenges anymore since no1 declared to be "on the way out" as our distinguished leader so eloquently puts it in his avatar box.

By the way, I'm still convinced of the fact that the marauder will stay, unless of course his wife made it clear to him he is spending too much time on correspondence chess, RHP and its entanglements ......
He wouldn't be the first husband forced to leave RHP because the wife was complaining so much ...... 😉
