@proper-knob saidThe evidence is all around you. Very simple.

@secondson saidI can't be disobeying "commandments" I don't believe exist.
Existentialism anyone?
God, and His commandments, exists independent of what you believe.
Grapple with it all you want, and hide behind the facade of statements of unbelief, but you will never escape the reality of God that exists to your very core.
God knows where you are, but demonstrates His grace by gently asking "where art thou", FMF?
@secondson saidSurely you had something less clumsy than this kind of thing in mind when you asked your OP question?
You can, whether you believe they exist or not.
@secondson saidYou asked the following:
Do you have anything to say relevant to the OP?
<<What's your excuse for not obeying the commandment of your maker?>>
I provided two beliefs that many Christians hold that serve as excuses for those who do not obey:
Two beliefs held by many Christians play a major role in not obeying:
1) Ceasing to sin is not required for "salvation" / "eternal life" / living in the Kingdom / receiving the "spirit of truth" / being "born again".
2) Ceasing to sin is not possible for any given human being.
It's a fact. Are you claiming they don't serve as excuses for those who do not obey?
But then, you aren't one to allow facts to get in the way of what you like to believe.
@thinkofone saidDon't worry about them. Worry about yourself.

Your excuse is noted.
@secondson saidCouldn't a Hindu give the same answer, if asked for evidence that their gods exist?
The evidence is all around you. Very simple.

@secondson saidPeople can't disobey "commandments" they don't believe exist.
No. I fully expected you to provide the clumsy excuses.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo.
Couldn't a Hindu give the same answer, if asked for evidence that their gods exist?
There's only one God.

@proper-knob saidSo simple it doesn't need explaining.
@SecondSon
So simple, you can’t explain it?!
