The History of j
The letter j is rather different to those discussed so far, as it did not exist in Latin and, of course, a great deal of the medieval literate tradition is in Latin.
So basically, it is probably incorrect to say that j is exactly the same as i in both ancient and medieval Latin. More correctly, there ...[text shortened]... ory of the Letter J & Why J-esus was NOT his Name

Do you think He has not seen changes in the languages He created,?
Do you think He does not recognize His own Name?
Do you think He does not know who recognizes Him as the True God and calls on His Name?
Now we are all sinners, unclean. The only way He deals with us is through His Son Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus,
One day He will deal with us directly.

(Proverbs 30:4)[/b]I appreciate Pr 30:4. We do have the Son's name which you know is Jesus Christ.
also, I am longingly looking forward to saying my Heavenly Father's Name correctly. Until that day comes, I will use His Anglicized name, Jehovah, with full confidence that He hears me and knows I am praying to Him through His Son Christ Jesus and not to other gods.

I am only providing information to the ignorant concerning His name. And this information makes it clear that Jehovah and Jesus is not the proper name, but knowing that, we are free to use whatever name makes us happy. 😏
