Why would you ask God who created him? That simply makes no sense to me.
God is God. He is eternal. He has no beginning or end. Otherwise he wouldn't be God.
If you had the opportunity to meet such a being, knowing what you know about this world and yourself, couldn't you think of something else to ask him?

Originally posted by eatmybishopas hard as it is to believe, it is possible God's existence lasts forever. somebody proved to me that eternity does exist, the number "pi" goes on forever and many other numbers do too. but, "pi" does have a beginning so it is possible that something created God. but if you ask who/what created the creator of God? somewhere down the line, somebody just went POOF! and existed all by themselves, which i believe had to be God; nobody created him and nothing created him.

for the sake of the post, let's just say we all agree god exists... imagine we're allowed just one brief moment in this lifetime to ask god just one question and in return he will be completely honest with the answer... what would your question be..?
i have mine, just want to see if anyone matches it before i say...

After posting my reply, it occurred to me that there might be a bit of a "Who's on first?" element to it.
So to be clear:
My question to God would be "Why?".
edit: at least part of the answer
