God is God. He is eternal. He has no beginning or end. Otherwise he wouldn't be God.

If you had the opportunity to meet such a being, knowing what you know about this world and yourself, couldn't you think of something else to ask him?
whether you like it or not, the truth is something created god... i find it surprising you say that's a bad question, when it's a question that would give us so many answers...

so what would your question be... i'm interested now... no doubt something highly irrelevant and pointless

Seems like the creation itself is also bothering the Spirit, as it caused a great disturbance in the field.

as hard as it is to believe, it is possible God's existence lasts forever. somebody proved to me that eternity does exist, the number "pi" goes on forever and many other numbers do too. but, "pi" does have a beginning so it is possible that something created God. but if you ask who/what created the creator of God? somewhere down the line, somebody just went POOF! and existed all by themselves, which i believe had to be God; nobody created him and nothing created him.

for the sake of the post, let's just say we all agree god exists... imagine we're allowed just one brief moment in this lifetime to ask god just one question and in return he will be completely honest with the answer... what would your question be..?

i have mine, just want to see if anyone matches it before i say...
Why?

After posting my reply, it occurred to me that there might be a bit of a "Who's on first?" element to it.

So to be clear:
My question to God would be "Why?".

Ok then, how do you know "something" created God?

Or perhaps, why does Satan trick you into not believing?

Oh, I thought you were a monotheist! Yet, here you are giving satan credit for having powers like God's...sorry for the miss-understanding.

You could ask him what's wrong with you! Gotcha!

Thanks bishop. I hate to laugh at your expense, but I couldn't resist.

I ask God that question everyday.

You know your twisting the logic.

God doesn't decieve.

Would have been my only question, but since I already know the answer, maybe I might have the answer he's looking for.

edit: at least part of the answer
