Assuming "God" exists, where "God" is defined as an entity of some kind that somehow caused the universe we perceive to exist.
Assuming "God exists" is a fact...
Thought exercise #1
Why would we assume it is a "good" God?
Thought exercise #2
Why would we assume it had communicated with our species?
Thought exercise #3
Why would it follow that we are immortal beings?
@fmf saidPeople have been asking these questions for a very long time. They are well worth considering of course, but the answers have yet to be found.

Right now, I'm "considering" exercise #167 in my Woodpecker Method book. The answers have yet to be found there as well. 🤔
@fmf saidNothing whatever follows from "a creator entity caused the universe to exist." All the hard work is yet to be done, such as establishing that said creator entity is intelligent and not just another mindless mechanical super-natural force (like gravity or electromagnetism), that said creator entity is still around and did not extinguish itself (like a match which started a fire and then burned itself out), that said creator entity cares about humans enough to have sent a message once or more than once, that said creator entity has any anthropomorphic characteristics at all (love, anger, wrath, justice, mercy, forgiveness, whatever), that said creator entity is identical with any God, god, or goddess ever worshipped by men, that said creator entity ever walked this Earth in mortal form, that man is possessed of a soul, etc. None of these theses follows from "a creator entity exists"; they are one and all items of faith.

@fmf saidBecause these are things we hope to be true.

@fmf saidPerhaps we could reduce your impertinent trouble-making to:

If God does not play dice with the cosmos, does God play Scrabble with it instead?
Thoughts?
@bigdogg saidSome people hope for immortality, others don’t. Those who don’t, also don’t need to believe in creator entities to explain how the universe began. I don’t count myself among the ‘we’ who make assumptions about or need to believe in creator entities.
I'm not sure what's tripping you up here.
