You know Manny every challenge you put in Robbies and my face we have completely WITH SCRIPTURES answered you. I'm not here to be tested and I'm tired of you and the others changing the subject once you can't find the answers biblically. Yes you all have tons of opinions but rarely respond with the Bible to back them up.
And for your information I can ...[text shortened]... l up more history, stats, and facts on any subject in the Bible then you could ever dream of.
Try reading the bible free of the WT seriously. Paul says abstain from a medical procedure called a blood transfusion!! Do you see how stupid that sounds? This procedure was not even in the mind of Paul 2000 years ago.

no for it was reiterated to the Christians after the death of Christ, after the law had been nullified, in the book of acts to be precise.
Fine.
Do you drink wine for the sake of your stomach?
Originally posted by menace71i see you are also unable to tell the difference between a law and a principle.

What? I don't see the bible through the WT colored lenses!! Dude really I believe you that you want to please God but your allegiance needs to be to God. Not to some organization. God's kingdom is universal in the sense it is not bound by some stupid organization.

Who says what is law and principle - you talk your own language.
Btw you are a very condescending person.
Originally posted by robbie carrobieSo I am guessing you think that blood transfusions come under the principle of abstaining from blood? Can you refer to other passages of Scripture which countenance this principle?

Historically, the Christian churches have always understood Acts 15:28 to have been a temporary commandment simply to allay tensions between Jews and Gentiles, which would later be abolished with Paul's teaching that all foods are clean. The context makes it clear. It is clearly an instruction to the Gentiles (Acts 15: 19-21). This was simply to ensure that Christian Jews and Gentiles could assimilate.

As is Paul's instruction to Timothy to take wine to settle the stomach. Alcohol is a scourge of the modern world and many believe in abstinence based on the psalmists advice - however Paul approved of moderation with instruction.
Spirit of life vs. law of death.
No one Christian or non is buying your argument guys. G-75 or R.C.
You can't connect the two the scriptures and you organizations whacky reasoning on why JW's must refuse Blood transfusions. All that being said it's your right to decline a blood transfusion if it's ever needed for you. (hope not)
