I agree with you first. However, dead bodies may not jump from the
grave, but they have come back to life and that is not just Yahshua.
There have been people declared dead during our present times that
have come back to life. Animal slaughter may be cruel and cause
suffering if not done properly. However, if done properly, it is not cruel
and does not cause pain and is not sinful if done for the right reason.
Killing is the issue - not whether you are kind about or not.
In most cases there is no care in the slaughtering process.
Killing is condemned because we cannot end the life of sentient beings whimsically to satisfy the tongue.
Every creature has their particular life span and we have no right to interfere with that.

but I have heard of a body come back to life in the funeral home
just before it was being prepared for embalming. A story about
it was in the local newspaper.
I have never, never heard of a soul jumping out of one body and
into another though. You Hindus are the only ones that I know
of that say a soul can do such a thing. I have never read about
it in the newspaper or seen any proof that it is possible.

They were not dead to begin with.
Bible says that the dead and rotting bodies in the grave will all come back to life when Jesus returns in the future.
This will not happen.

The soul enters the womb by way of the semen from the male and life begins at conception.
With plants - the soul enters the seed when the conditions of life are available - namely water, sunshine etc.
