Another chance? It's not like I left 4 years ago because I was run out of the place or embarrassed or caught in a lie, or anything like that. I just got tired of playing too many games of chess and found other message forums to be better suited. Now I'm back to playing chess, and the forums are here so I stopped by to see what was happening.
Not a t ...[text shortened]... liar, no agenda, no diabolical plans. Just a new name. Same guy. Hated the other name anyway.

And yet I recalled it and you looked it up. Do you have some kind of problem?
No, after being questioned by several posters, you said that despite desperately trying to remember your username and failing so badly that you had to create another... that you then suddenly and inexplicably you thought your previous username might have been "didymus".
I looked that name up and there was no posts ever by that poster who was clearly a sock- puppet. But then lo and behold, suddenly after blaming your memory issue on Alzheimer's disease, you then thought it was the opposite spelling of didymus, sumydid. You are not sumydid.
So what's going on here, I tell you. You are a returning poster, I have no problem with that, but for some reason you have decided that you don't want people to know who you were previously, probably because you were a lying duchbag then like you are being here, now. Hence you wanting a new name in the first place. You also know that as a returning poster you will be scoped out pretty quickly by the sharp-eyed in here.
So how do you overcome this;
Frstly you pick a name that is nothing like the previous one.
Then you kick off and see if anyone notices that you are not new.
If they do you confess and throw out the "old codger returning to chess" fleece and mention a few old names like myself, Suzianne and "some old guy called Bob who drove everyone mad" and see if people are thrown off the scent.
None of it rings true.
When challenged on the befuddled old codger with Alzheimer's outline, you then say that the Alzheimer's bit was a joke. A joke!!
Just come clean about your previous username and drop all this silly pretence.
Edit: or don't, "Tom Wolsey" is dead in the water already 😛
