lol, no.

Young Earth Creationists.

These are the folks who believe the age of the earth is only slightly more than 6,000 years. As you might imagine, they also do not believe in the theory of evolution.

Edit: interesting link

Hmmm. Well I'm not sure what I believe in any more. I used to be a staunch believer of scientific explanations for everything. Now it appears, the deeper we dig, the more we don't know about anything. The whole thing is one massive beautiful puzzle, which no single man can understand with their single mind. Religion doesn't seem to be based on morals any more, nor science based on logic and reason. My conclusion is that I will find out the answer when I get 'there', if I ever do. 🙂

Have you seen the movie "Defending Your Life" with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep? It's a riot.

If they are applying C14 in the wrong way, then I agree with you. However they don't. Those who says otherwise are just afraid of the inplications or don't understand the C14-theory. Let's call the C14 isotope the 'Darwin particle' in the future.

Suppose the discovery of the Higgs particle, the so called god particle, can be used to prove the true age of the universe, then its very existance would be denied by YECs.
Not if it turns out to be about 7 -10 thousand years old.

Again, ice cores. Young earth is easily disproved.

I think not. Too much speculation = not science.

So you know the Truth. Only scientific experiments showing this Truth, you accept. Right?

Sorry, then you'll never find out what Truth is.

What does your bible tell you about the Higg's particle?
