Wisdom is knowing the best way to apply knowledge, IMO.

How does one obtain it?
Experiece, patience, a keen intellect, and a half a dozen other things.

I like that.

I was going to say knowledge plus experience equals wisdom.

But would'nt that require correct knowledge?

- I guess it would, but this doesn't necessarily wisdom is correct or not, wisdom is relative.

being smart is not about being wise.... to use a simple formula, being smart is knowing 10 + 10 = 20; being wise is knowing why 10 + 10 = 20.... i do agree with you though, the key word here is experience

Smart is not always wise .. the base of wisdom.

Wisdom comes a little later in life than 16 IMHO and does indeed require experence.

Is it possible to have wisdom at a young age? What if you learn from someone else's experience and are smart, as well as have the ability to apply the experience and knowledge to your life...does this mean that you are wise?

Knowledge is knowing you're crossing a one-way street. Wisdom is looking both ways anyway.

Not original, but wise nonetheless.
