Berbatov - 2 games, no pre season - 2 very hard away games - 2 assists.

Torres - 1 goal in 6 odd games, and your team plays around him.

You're missing the point (again). I haven't said a word about Berbatov. I think he'll do very well for you. However, you've been saying Torres is suffering 2nd season syndrome forgetting the obvious factor that he's been injured and the fact that he's barely had a rest in over 12 months. (Torres had no rest this summer because he was playing in the European Championship whilst Berbatov was sat on his arse drinking mojitos?!)

"2 very hard away games" LOL! You sound like a woman at times.

Oh, BTW Berbatov, as well as having had a rest all summer, then hitting the gym, did in fact play 4 of Spurs' 8 pre-season games. If you're going to quote facts then get them right. It helps.

Thick as mince aren't you?

Dicky, dont get to carried away with Arsenal sitting at the top of the league.

Remember last season, your boys were only 2 points from winning the league in january and then finished with NOTHING.

Arseanl always do this, start off really strong and then end up with being also runs at everything...(well thats how its been for the last 3 trophy-less year ...[text shortened]... t Arsenal are the only one of the so called top 4 not to have won a trophy for the last 3 years.
.... well i did SAY....!!!

Well the question now seems to be:-

How many of Derby's Premiership records will Spurs break:-

- Top flight record run of 32 league games without a win
- Less than 11 points at the end of the season
- 1 win all season

Looks like Spurs are on course to break all 3.

Was that 5m extra Levy held out for in the Berbatov sale really worth it?

Berbatov is still not match fit but getting better every game and is starting to look like a real class act.

United really took Blackburn appart and could have won 0-6 or even more.

As for Torres, after watching the City game today, yes he is a fantastic player and after a slow start he is again looking world class.
I think he will add at least 10 to 15 points to Liverpool this season and will get you 3rd spot at the end of the season.

However, these 80+ minute match winning performances and consistent red cards for your opponents won't last.

He played excellently yesterday, and even did some defensive work, winning the ball that lead to the break for Rooney's goal.

I still wonder if United can afford the luxury of Ronaldo AND Berba not doing a huge amount of defensive work against the top sides?

I wonder if "White Hart Lane" should be renamed to "White Flag Lane"?

Spurs won't 'do a Derby', they're too good for that. But, if I was a Surs fan I'd be alot more concerned about them doing a 'Reading', a dramatic loss of confidence followed by flirting with the bottom 3 all season then being caught by a sucker-punch on the last day of the season...

good point.. that is a major concern now to be honest. As for "ROONEY'S" comments.. you know what I was thinking the same yesterday as i walking back home after the game😳

I still think that one win in the legue will lead to them going on a 10 game unbeaten run... the PROBLEM IS WHERE IS THAT ONE WIN GOING TO COME FROM:'(

No.. the fact that Levy did not taken United to the FA for tapping up the player is the real issue..not the extra £6.75m (Lets not forget old REDFACE only wanted to pay £25m max😵😵)
