indeed, i have been corrected and happily so!!
It's the wicket thuogh not the bowler.
the real tweekers are beating the bat, the likes of o'keefe are catching the edge.
Maxwell, Border, Pup,etc. could've gotten that haul.
lyon set up at one end and o'keefe took'em down at the other . the batters went after o'keefe and lost.

btw nice avatar .... for the 80's! objectify women much?

Yeah, with Garry down the other end bowling well, a great fielding outfit, I could take a few wickets, no problem.
Problem is at my age I could only make the Pakistani team 😀

Hi KA

i wouldn't bother.

You posted your criticism of O'Keefe back in early January

There was the 'sound of silence' from this idiot until today, when all of O'Keefe's birthdays come at once. If he was a 'cricket fan' who disagreed with your earlier assessment, why didn't he speak up way back?

Reactive, not proactive posting, as you'd expect from someone whose cricket knowledge seems to be the current World rankings.

You got it spot on, India prepared a real 'bunsen', when all they needed was a gentle turner. Credit to Australia for taking advantage, and with Smith in your side, always a threat.

Bring back the 80's anytime. The greatest era in history.

I think it's sad that you can look at a picture of a vibrant, beautiful young woman and think it is degrading or objectifying her. I see it as celebrating youth and beauty. You see it as something else. To date you are the only person to have found this pic offensive.

As an Australian you should know that a bikini is part of our national costume. Should I have a pic of a girl in a burqa?

Take it easy dude.

If I had known the Indians were going to serve up a pitch that turned more than normal (which is like heaps), then O'keefe would've been, and is quite dangerous, and I would've endorsed his inclusion. I kinda feel sorry for Swepson who seems to be a real good spinner in the making.

BTW Shane Warne criticized O'keefe and Renshaw before the test started . I mean Renshaw? He practically turned the Australian summer around single-handedly by not getting out. (and averaging over 50 ) 20 years old. What an absolute outrage it would have been to omit him

( BTW I only saw the highlights and it seemed that you just needed to be accurate and not necessarily be a big turner. )

I'll try to take it easy dude, but as a feminist, I do find it offensive- because it's like 2017 and not 1985. What was so good about the 80's anyway? The tv? The wars? The politicians?
I just can't think of anything except for underground music. Please help me out here

BTW I'm celebrating a bit of youth and bueaty by blowing up your pic and getting a quarter chub over it....

I know , I know , you just can't please anyone with semi-naked blondes anymore. At least you admit it and acknowledge that you think the 80's was the greatest era. And In that sense , you're a true 'Stralian 🙂

edit: just checked out your home page. Wow!! more youth and beauty . How old are you dude? Like women who are third of your age ?

Hi KA

well, you rolled India over in the 2nd innings as well, to win by 333 runs. Well done, must admit, didnt see that coming after your showing in Sri Lanka last year.

O'Keefe took another '6 fer', so maybe your mate is correct to sing his praises. Shame he didn't 'call it' until after the event.

Still think India will come back at you hard, but as I said, with Smith in your side, you always have a chance.

Over here, cricket v much on the 'back burner'. Looking forward to England almost certainly winning our 17th consecutive Rugby Union international tomorrow (vs Italy, whipping boys of our 6 Nations). Of course, that run includes 4 wins vs Oz , 3 in your back yard 😉

'quarter chub'?? Do i want to know?

Crikey.......can you back pedal fast.

What you know about cricket could be written in capital letters on the back of a postage stamp.

"No one will beat India in India......." Maybe you were right........we didn't beat them, we destroyed them

The difference with O'keefe is that I didn't rubbish him like one dude did. I didn't make the remark that I could bowl better than him. I had nothing to defend.

O'keefe has the second best figures ever by any bowler to play against India in India. 12 for 70 just behind Beefies 13 for 106.

Get on that bike dumbo and start pedalling ........backwards........again.

Talk about starting a thread that comes back to bite you in the ass..........didn't daddy give you advice about that !!!!!

But you can bowl better than O'keefe remember.

Does that mean you should have made the test side.

Probably haven't rolled of the lounge in a decade.

Hi there Champ

series isnt over yet. never said no one would win a TEST in India, plenty of cricket left in the series

Think the only 'proactive' cricket post you ever made was to predict that the Brit we lent you, young Renners, wasn't up to it. Looks like that was wrong, again

there is no 'difference is'. When KA rubbished O'Keefe in January you said nothing. As usual. Just waited to react when/if he did something

Beefy? Who did he play for again? Think he backed those figures up with a century in that game as well. Go google it, Champ

Nice to see a 'fellow' Aussie has sussed you for the garbage you are

My dad? He's with us. Told you that ages ago. Twas a ploy to reveal your true nature. It worked

Back under the stone, now. Go check the w, sorry rankings, while ogling your avatar

Crikey........that bike you're on goes faster backward than it does forward.......much faster.

You jumped on here, created a thread when Australia had a few losses like a moron and have had your nose rubbed it it ever since. Big time

Geez I love dumb pommies.......we use them as footballs over here.

Please........give us more of your deep cricket knowledge. I've made a fortune backing against it since you starting imparting it.

I remember after England got destroyed by Bangladesh that you stated that many sides would be beaten by them.......well they've played 11 times since then and haven't won a single game. Not one. Must have used up all their skill taking your lot apart. Bwahahahaha !!!

So please tell us some more........so we can all have a good chuckle..... maybe even dear old daddy.

Do you really say 'crikey' all the time over there, Champ?

Don't recall saying Bangladesh would win loads of games after they beat us? Do you have that particular quote?

If you insist on continuing to post on my thread, then please bring a little relevance to your banal , repetitive posts.

For example, I cited your rubbishing of the young Brit, Renners, in my last post. Anything to say on that, or is it an example of your cricketing foresight?

Thread was started, tongue in cheek, to goad Aussie cricket fans after you lost 5 consecutive Tests. Believe it or not, I didnt expect Oz to lose every Test they played from now to eternity.

Prefer it if only genuine cricket fans contributed. Don't put you in that category at all. Enjoy the genuine cricket chat with the other 2 Aussies much more.

I very much doubt that you had money on Oz to win that first Test. Go on, be proactive. Tell us all the next bet you are having BEFORE the event. No, thought not.

Stone's waiting. Get under it

ps checked out 'quarter chub'. He's got you sussed!

Woes no more.

I'm still completely stunned by what has happened in Pune. I've never seen an Indian side bat so poorly. They did absolutely nothing right. Sure, it was a tough pitch - but India have been playing on these and slaughtering all comers for years on these pitches. And Australia didn't bat them out of the game either. 260 & 285 aren't huge scores by sub continental standards.

I'm not getting carried away by Okeefe just yet. He bowled well, but India played him really poorly - he got a lot of wickets with dead straight balls and some terrible shots. Rahul's wicket in the 1st Innings was a shocker. A player of his calibre, well set playing beautifully (albeit with a bung shoulder) and he tries to launch it to Sri Lanka ?

Hopefully this ends the ridiculous pitches that India have been producing lately. You know something is wrong when 3 Indian commentators of repute (Shastri, Gavaskar and Manjrekar) all say it's a disgraceful pitch, and totally out of character compared to the usual conditions produced there. Gavaskar even said, it's usually one of the better pitches in India for quicks, and the curator (being a former quick bowler) can produce pitches that the quicks liked.

Young Brit. !!!!! Renshaw is an Aussie dopey

Renshaw left England when he was 7 years old........long before he ever picked up a bat. He's played all his cricket in Australia and plays for Australia.

I know over there that if you are a good sportsman and your great great granny visited England for a week when she was 10 ........then you qualify to play for England !!!!

I believe Keaton Jennings only had to know that a country called England existed.............before they rushed him into the side.

Fair Dinkum mate you've got no idea.

And as for that stone.......lifted it and there wasn't space. You're daddy was taking it all up.
