1 forum for usa sport - thats a laugh in itself &
1 forum for non usa sport[/b]
being that the winter olympics are almost upon us, we can use this as an example of a lot of sports that people in the US generally don't care much about. At least not enough to warrant posts in these forums.
alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski-jumping, speed-skating, figure skating, luge, bobsled, curling, snow-boarding, and making fun of Bode Miller's cluelessness.
nevertheless, the US generally wins more than it's fair share of medals in these sports, so are they REALLY non-USA sports?
Edit: I got through that whole post without making any edits!!!....wait a minute...

Originally posted by trev33Sports are sports. If it bounces, rolls, wobbles, goes through a hoop, in a cup, get smahed over a net, hit with a racquet or a tambourine even, I will watch. Last time I was in La Bella Italia I watched a match of Tamborello, th predecessor of tennis. Similar ball but hit with a tambourine. Quite entertaining! Of course it was an all girl team so it was very enjoyable!

Originally posted by MelanerpesUSA may win more medals than many other countries but I reckon that won't last because other countries will refine their pharmaceutical drug industry to match that of USA.

Originally posted by robbie carrobieRegrettably the Broncos could not avenge themselves and fell to the lowly Chiefs! Yikes! When a win could possibly get you into the playoffs and lose 44-24 to an offenseless team! I shall wear my kilt in honor of Scotland because of the great robbiecarrobie's support! Actually, don't own one but I will get one at the discount store for the playoff game!

Lol, if you cannot get one, make one from a pair of curtains. I bow to the gesture and wish the cowboys the utmost success for the play-offs.

I've always wanted a set of olive green kilts for summer campouts with my son's boy scout troop! Should help avoid groin rot and having to apply buttloads of Beaudreaux's Butt Paste (an actual OTC ointment)! An olive green kilt looks real good with the scout uniform indeed!

Marshall did have a broken nail, sustained while picking his nose and sneezing simultaneously! Broncos should be back with a vengeance next year!
