Qbs: Rams Bradford knee second year in a row(year). Panthers Newton lost for at least last preseason game.

Bob, what do you think of the Logan Mankins trade?

Also other potential Bears weaknesses, special teams, defensive coordinator.
Coordinator is a clown to act like Lance Briggs moved well against Seattle. I hope that the vets are just taking it easy. Tillman looked old too. But I'm holding out until week 3 to judge. I'll know alot more by then, although to me the first part of the schedule doesn't look as bad as it once did.
And admittedly, the Seahawks are tough, especially at home, they launched beast mode, looked pretty damn good, but again, preseason! 85 Bears were 1-3 in the preseason.

Couldn't believe the Patriots let him go. Any idea why? I'll be surprised if the Seakhawks do as well as they did in 2013.

I hope by that you mean you will be surprised if they win the superbowl again. Because they are pretty much an even better team than they were last year on paper. It is preseason but only Tom Brady and Peyton manning have put up a higher completion percentage than Russell Wilson.

They are the best team in the NFC and I have them pegged to make a return to the superbowl to represent the NFC against the AFCs champion Colts.

Latest from Coach Rivera and Newton says he'll definitely play in Week 1. I guess QBs play with this kind of injury all the time, it's just a question of effective pain management.

Yeah, I have Cam Newton on my FFB team. 🙁

No, I haven't heard why they made the trade. Probably money.

Hopefully as a Backup? Otherwise I would have to say you waited too long to grab a good QB or you just made a terrible pick. Cam Newton is a good QB but this offense downgraded significantly from last year when Cam was an average fantasy QB anyway. You would be better off picking Matt Cassel lol.

I like ron riviera as a coach, but if cam newton is hurt, if 80% of teams starting qbs are hurt, there's trouble, there's possibly 2 teams that may be able to manage it. Carolina has an outside chance of a playoff spot.

dude, you don't just pick up qbs that start in this league off the scrap heap, to say that the Panthers have to move on from Cam and pick up Matt Cassel even if he can queenside is crazy. Every one falls in love with the back up qb and cassel is nothing more than that, and as a bears fan with mccown in tampa now when people called for him even when cutler was healthy is whacked. There's a handful of qb's that are great, some that are good, for heck sake don't even spew matt cassel and playoffs and panthers in the same sentence.lol. with what rb and wr? Cam Newton is that team. An I think he needs to play for the next few years what has he done to lose the job and who is filling in? it's cam newton or bust.

if healthy! teams don't often return to the super bowl. They are good on paper and cheat during practice with full contact, the Patriots pretty much were the blue print, but now what? There will be new blood.
The interlocking NY don't win every year, and neither will Seahawk, because it's pro football baby, it's difficult, especially to repeat, there's gunners.
