EDIT: Your announcers don't know what they are talking about; last year Stubbs drew the 34th most pitches per AB in the majors: http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/batting/_/year/2011/sort/pitchesPerPlateAppearance/qualified/true/type/expanded
I guess your right. It takes at least 3 pitches every time he is up. 😛

I particularly enjoyed hearing the announcer tonight begin to name Stubbs by accidently beginning to say the name Adam Dunn.

At least Adam could hit more home runs for whatever good that did the Reds.

Stubbs goes deep into the count? Last I heard some announcers were dogging him because they said he does NOT go deep into the count and was one reason why he should not be a lead off hitter.

Here are the stats on Stubbs in 36 at bats this year.

Average .167
On base % .211
Srrike outs 12
Walks 2

The only other batter that is as bad is Rolan with rified Corey Patterson cause everytime he gets up to bat I get the same sick feeling in my gut.
Thanks for your usual moronic, unthinking negativity: since this post Stubbs has went 8 for 17 with a 2B, HR, 4 RBIs and 2 SB in 4 games. He's had two 3 hit games in a row in the Reds' victories over the Cardinals and Cubs.

He did it to spite me. Make no mistake, the old Stubbs will return.........at least I hope not. 😛

The surging Reds, winners of three of their last four, get a day off. They are back home and the punchless Giants are coming in to be the next sacrificial lamb. Maybe we'll lose one to them, but I doubt it.

Yawn..... the Reds aren't even playing .500 ball yet.

Could you please refrain from glorifying them until they at least reach mediocrity?

Thanks.

The Cardinals started 8-9 last year and won the WS. Deja vu all over again after we win tomorrow.

Reds WILL NOT win the World Series in 2012.

Spoiled your ending, but it had to be done.

My guess is you will cease chirping about them in June.

It is all pretty predictable isn't it.

Golly Gee, I wonder if those Yankees can make the playoffs this year as well.......

A come from behind win started by "washed up" Scot Rolen's HR. Reds have now won 5 of 6 and are at .500. They go for the sweep today.

Put away your broom, SC; Cueto mows down Houston, Bruce hits another bomb and the Reds win 6-0.

Did you see the play Cozart made on your "Rookie of the Year"? Youza!
