An insult to the mighty Rainbow Warriors, soon to be the REAL National Champions, cannot be tolerated.
Grab a hanky and stop crying. And give up on the Sigmund Freud crap. You started a thread for comments about the picks and now want to shut people up. Make up yer "mind".
I do not like all of Ash's picks or RN's...or yours for that matter...but did i say they were ignorant?
No...but you do...it seems that if noone agrees with you then they are an idiot. You even said that in another post about espn radio talk show hosts. Why listen to them when you have spoken? Do you have that job? Nope...but they do and I listen to them all of the time...and except for Steven A. Smith I think they are usually about 95% correct on what they say...him...I wish someone would send his butt back to the chapel to preach.
I don't know you...and after all of this never want to...the fact of the matter is is that a "debate" on things is done logically and with data. You attack the post...not the poster.
I think Ash backed up his points very well...all you did was say he, I, RN, and i guess everyone else is an idiot because we have no clue what we are talking about.
Well I have heard very valid points from all who have jumped onto this poll.
Noone picked completely the same...why...cause if we all did then noone would win.
And here is the funny thing...when it is all said and done...I want everyone to congratulate the winner...and we will congratulate you if you win...you get the title.
I have no clue who will win...and it really is a crap shoot...which is why i made everyone pick now.
So quit yelling at people!

If you watched Hawaii's win over Washington, you know that they stumbled early with three fumbles but then scored the last 28 points. Washington may be the last place team in the Pac-10 but they've played a bunch of bowl teams well, losing to USC 27-24 and leading Ohio State and Arizona State at halftime.
As to Hawaii's schedule this has all b ...[text shortened]... h to win. But your comments about a team you know virtually nothing about were ridiculous.

What an ass-kisser.
it was a factual statement...kinda like if he said i am very good at chess.
Would that be ass kissing?
You are building a straw man once again

Simple as that.
Did I say that you just back marauder up because you two swap spit in the shower?
Nope.
I don't have to sink to that level to show that you are wrong.

Dave, you better stay away from my butt, I know where your lips have been. LOL! Just messing with you.
I'm no Magic 8-Ball by a long shot. Predicting bowls isn't the easiest thing in the world. Never know what teams are excited about playing and which ones are just going to go through the motions, among other factors (i.e. who partied too much the night before, etc.)

No real chance to look at espn and see who got hurt and all in the next 2 weeks.
I really will be interesting to see it all play out...cause this is by far the nuttiest year I have ever seen.

So, you're an expert and have watched every single team the same number of games this year? Wish I had that much free time on my hands.
I never said Hawaii was a bad team, I made a comment about their coach's NFL career. And I picked Georgia to beat them in the Sugar Bowl. Going undefeated at any level is a hell of an accomplishment. Didn't I mention t ome opinionated polls by voters that don't have time to watch all the games themselves.
Hawaii beat the same number of teams ranked in the top 25 as Ohio State did (1). You claimed that unlike Georgia they hadn't played in any big games; I pointed out that was untrue (and last year's games certainly can be considered for that). Your suggestion was that Washington was a terrible team, but they played plenty of good teams tough. Now you say "a loss is a loss" but before you suggested that Hawaii wasn't any good because they had to come from behind to beat Washington. Make up yer "mind".
I already suggested a playoff system in the MCS thread. It won't happen for a while though; the big conferences like it just the way it is and hate when a mid-major crashes the party. But twice in the last 3 years a western mid-major has knocked off a BCS Conference Champion (which Georgia is not). I expect a close game, but the best quarterback in college football will make the plays that win it at the end if the game is close. If Georgia doesn't blow out Hawaii, they lose.

You, RN and Assh can give that a whirl if you have the ballsz.

UW played Hawaii tough on the big island, OSU beat them by 3 TD's on the road. I just think the SEC week in a and week out is just a little tougher than what Hawaii faced in the WAC. Like I said, I agree with you, a playoff is the only true way to crown a National Champion, but that ship isn't even on the horizon at the moment.

Of course, the SEC is the toughest conference but that does not mean that ANY team from the SEC can beat EVERY team from the mid-majors. Georgia had a tough time handling Troy which doesn't have anything like the firepower Colt brings. And I still say the intangibles favor Hawaii; they're excited to be in the Sugar and feel they have something to prove while Georgia spent the last week grumbling about not getting into the Championship game and really doesn't have much to gain.
Originally posted by no1marauderUGA has nothing to gripe about. How can you have any claim for the BCS Championship game if you don't even make it to your own conference championship? I guarantee the Super Dome will be packed with red and black and Richt will have his troops ready to play. UGA has faced their share of quality QB's as well in Tebow, Ainge, and Woodson. Hawaii hasn't faced any team the quality of Georgia thus far. I think it's going to be a high scoring affair with UGA winning in the end.

EDIT: i.e. That it's better just to bet all underdogs than actually handicap the games. Try it with real money, if Mommy and Daddy will give you some.
