@pawnpaw saidThe best match was still the 2011 final, how close France got was extraordinary. But for a mindless red card, could have been the France vs England match we never had this year. Amazing how they can turn it on after looking so terrible.
The semi between England and NZ must be rated as one of the best semi's in any World Cup tournament?
@pawnpaw saidLOL
@Russ
Yes, theres a housing shortage in New Zealand today, thousands of AB fans came down back to earth...
You're right, many have a religious belief in the All Blacks.
But I must say everyone I've spoken to have been gracious
losers and praised the English performance. That fine for
crossing the half-way line during the Haka was a bit mean though!
@wolfgang59
I didn't know there was such a rule, the crossing of the halfway line while the ABs do their haka. Special privileges?
@pawnpaw saidThe rule applies fairly across all nations and is for "cultural displays" or some such.

(In other words the AB's haka.)

Sorry you lost your money.
The Springboks were superior in all departments.
Seems the English team didn't arrive at all.
Did they reach their peak last week?
@pawnpaw
Could be, they were completely out played, something went horribly wrong. I think it swung at the 55th minute, had a pen and choose to kick, missed the kick and SA went down to score again. 9 points behind at the time they needed a try. Should've went for it, they were quite timid compared to last week.
