I don't know what ceremony you saw, buddy. Are you sure it was the rugby world cup final? The one with the odd shaped ball?
As always your posts serve no purpose but to rile people up.
Too bad, because you seem like a reasonably intelligent person, when not posting this type of BS.
Sure, rugby in South Africa may not be where some people want it, tra ...[text shortened]... kins are, as long as they keep on wining.
PS. South Africa does not have a prime minister.
I will say this, your government saw it and they plan to take affirmative action:
1. Forced desegregation of the National team.
2. Changing the name of the team to something less offensive to the majority population.
Originally posted by Red NightYou're confusing the issues of transformation and representation with desegregation.

1. There is no segregation.
2. The name won't change if the rugby public has anything to do with it.

Does anyone have a video link to the celebrations?
Here's the boks in Cape Town:
Seems like a country united to me...
Here's a short one of some of the closing ceremony:
Make of that what you will.
I'll have a look later if I can find a video with the whole closing ceremony.

The black masses and the white masses in the stadiums do seem segregated with little mixing but whether that was choice or design I had no idea from the clips.
The smiles on all faces were very much those of a fledgling united winning country and I doubt if any could disagree.

You were wrong to accuse Crowley of racism over that comment. If you're not humble enough to apologize to him, then just let this drop.
I'll apologize to Crowley when Hell freezes over, which is about the same time he'll apologize to me for calling me an idiot lol
