some great choices and its difficult to pick one elite player against another
would you consier paolo maldini and as steven gerrard as players who could truly win a game for their team single handed. as much as i hate him christiano ronaldo surely has been one of the best players this decade. and i think you would have to consider ryan giggs, drogba came good for about four years.

Mind you, Cantona is the very definition of someone who never replicated his success in England elsewhere. Unlike Henry, he didn't even do it at international level or in Europe for his club.
