Especially interesting considering his tactics in recent years against the top Premiership teams. Carling Cup final against Chelsea, anyone?

Edit: I actually don't remember if it was during the same cup final, but I believe you and it makes no difference.

wemger and ferguson
How, in the name of Vidic, did you deduct that Ferguson wants to do away with Cup Replays, when he says this..."Arsene is speaking for teams like ourselves, who are committed to Europe," he said.
"It is a fair point but I don't think it could apply to everyone. You cannot just take replays away. For some clubs it is part of their whole existence.
"Reading have come here today and got a draw that takes us back to their place. That is great for them."

Originally posted by RagnorakI stand corrected as the report from radio 5 hasn't been reported elsewhere. still the downgrading of the fa cup did start with the boycott.
Got any quotes? Sounds to me like he has said "no problem".

It isn't jealousy it is the facup just isn't what it was. I long for the hereford style giantkiiing or even colchester v leeds or wrexham v arsenal but the gap between the Prem and the rest is just too big sadly. This will get worse when the bottom placed team will earn £30m in years to come.

How can you "here...here" a work of pure fiction?

Whats with Arsenal and 'pool playing their 2nd choice keepers?
..and United did pull out of the cup few years back.

Talk to me about the team that Reading put out in the FA cup. Why concentrate on just the top 4? Tell me, how many of the top 4 are still in the cup? And who put out the other team?
