Aussie gonna come back and whup you for dat!
Having said that, the English could also get skittled for 100-150 and make a really good game of it.
Here's hopingπ
(Anderson has been real unlucky in the past, seems he is getting his luck back. He should hit the casino tonight)
Day two is another day.
Day one was won by England so comprehensively, that it seemes they were playing a club side at times.... π
The ashes are gone...dare I say it??
One more day like that, and they are definatively gone.
Shame. Ten more days of potentially great test cricket and the aussies screw it up in the first hour and a half.
Originally posted by karoly aczelThere is something fishy about this series. In the first test, the Poms scrape through with an amazing amount of luck. In the second, the Convicts are absolutely nowhere. In the third, they hammer the Brits to pulp. In the fourth, at least the way it looks like now, the Convicts play as if they were bleedin' Dutch. I'm telling you, if either of the teams were the Pakis, they'd have been sent home with a four-year ban for match fixing. But this is the Ashes, and nothing is wrong at all, oh no.

Didn't think you did PC!!!

3 days to go with England with an insurmountable lead in this test.
Maybe the aussies were betting against themselves for the Boxing Day test, but what a time to do it!! Record crowd at the MCG, record viewers acroos Oz, only to come up with 98 runs for the first innings.
No , I'm afraid that even if they were betting against themselves, they wouldn't have made it so obvious.
Really, they (aussies) had absolutely no luck. Neither batting nor bowling.
I still hold a slim hope that the aussies can pull a draw out of the fire from this one, but I'm afraid I cant see it happening without at least one day being rained out.

Ponting should be banned from international cricket for that little toy throwing stunt. although the Poms are probably wishing he would stay...
He knew what he was getting himself in for and made sure he used only the most polite words.
Although his body language would've been apparent to viewers everywhere...
