who do you score points in curling? its all confusing
So say I have 5 rocks in the house and you have 1 rock. If only 1 of my rocks is closer to the center than your 1 rock, I will only get one point for that end. Say on the next end I have 3 rocks in the house and you have 2 rocks, but your 2 rocks are closer to the center than any of my rocks. You will get rewarded 2 points for that end. Typically good, solid teams will score 1 to 2 points per end depending on who has the hammer (last rock), but an 8-ender, though rare, is possible at any level.
One of the best traditions in curling is the winners buy the losers a round at the pub after the match is finished. So everybody is a winner in curling!
