That's fair enough. Some like slow games/tournaments, while others appreciate fast paced games that don't drag out too long.
Luckily we're on a site offering both types in abundance!

I know a lot of players who like fast games. Please join the BIG tournament: The Vikings Rapid Tournament 2007
I'm in. That is the best prize I have ever seen offered on this site! Awesome.

That doesn't appear to be panning out....

And by the way it has been set up 🙂
Very nice tournament, and with an interesting focus !

it would also be interesting to see a tournament where all the strongest players would enter ... how would that be constructed?

It has been very difficult to gather all top players in the past.
I believe the number of games and time settings are the important factors. Perhaps a 2100+ duel with 7/14 would do the trick. Unfortunately it would take ages to finish if, say 32 players, participated.

Put the highest rated player at the top of your screen.

If you can't see your name, you're doomed.:'(

Cludi, I REALLY want a new chess book - I'm looking at plenty - but with the competition and TO of the tourney I just can't enter. 🙁

I applaude you for your time, money, and effort for this tournament though!
