I achieved that by just playing a lot of games when I just subscribed. Before that I hardly could get over 1200. Altough I must add I was sinking when I had near 200 games going later on... Now I am somewhat back at the rating I should be, somewhere 1300+. Every now and then we all have a streak down or up.

Lower banded is at 62 right now... upper is over 40 - maybe they will fill up afterall!
I'm a bit surprised that not more +/-1600-players has turned up though. Not much hope of passing on to the second round perhaps - but this is a nice chance to meet someone good and perhaps learn a few things, and there isn't much danger to your rating either.
