Idea??
The winner of the northern hemisphere plays a duel with the winner of the southern hemisphere of the same rating for an overall winner.
Or maybe more fun, the finalist go in a cross final (1st north x 2nd south & 2nd north x 1st south) and battle it out for an overall winner.

If things continue to move slowly as far as entrants into the southern duel that I'm eligable for, I will probably enter. I'm going to give it another 3 or 4 days though, hopefully it will fill up before that time.

..and that includes "mannie" and the late "LordByron". Hah!

Since the tourney clearly states that it's a hemisphere duel, saying southern is just a way of shortening it, that everyone should be able understand.

Originally posted by GalaxyShieldI'm not quite sure what you're saying but the southern hemisphere is south of the equator which includes much but not all of South America, half of Africa south of Nigeria, and basically Australasia. It's a bit quieter this side, but we like it that way.

The Southern Hemisphere (1200-1399) duel is very interesting. 64 entrants and nearly all of them are from the USA, Canada or Europe, which are all in the Northern Hemisphere. Is geography no longer taught in schools?
